In 2025, Manzili House, expands with the launch of Manzili Mara, an intimate escape on the Siria Escarpment overlooking the Maasai Mara and Northern Serengeti. Formerly Mara Pure, the camp has been reimagined by Manzili founder Vanessa Roumeguere and designer Tom Bossard, blending expertise in design, film, and cultural hospitality.
Originally built by the late Anthony Russell in traditional Maasai style, Manzili Mara carries the soul and detail of its Nairobi sister. With curated interiors, treetop decks, and vast views, it offers a sanctuary for those seeking immersion, privacy, and the rhythm of slow safari travel.
Together, the co-founders launch Manzili Mara to offer something truly rare: an exclusive home that feels private yet purposeful, luxurious yet grounded, and utterly unlike anything else in East Africa.
