New African Territories (“NAT”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your personal information and handling it responsibly, transparently, and in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.

When you enquire or book a safari with NAT, we may collect:
Full names and contact details
Nationality
Passport details and copies (for flight bookings)
Travel dates, preferences, and special requirements
Dietary or medical notes you choose to share
Emergency contacts
Payment confirmations (we do not store credit card numbers)
We collect only what we need to plan and deliver your safari.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
Respond to enquiries and prepare safari proposals
Confirm bookings, flights, transfers, and accommodation
Prepare itineraries, invoices, and travel documents
Coordinate logistics with partner camps, lodges, airlines, and guides
Meet legal and aviation requirements, including immigration checks
Improve our services and guest experience
We do not sell or share your personal data for marketing by third parties.
3. Who We Share Information With
To deliver your safari smoothly and safely, we may share necessary details with:
Camps and lodges where you’ll be staying
Local airlines (e.g., Safarilink, Air Kenya, Coastal Aviation)
Charter companies and cross-border flight operators
Guides, drivers, and ground handlers, meet & greet agents
Emergency medical or evacuation providers (e.g., RESCUE)
Banks and payment processors
We share only the information needed for your booking, and our partners must handle it securely and confidentially.
4. How We Store Your Data
Your information is stored securely in:
Google Workspace (Drive, Gmail, Docs, Sheets)
Safari Portal (for itinerary planning)
Locked office files if printed
We protect this data using passwords, access controls, and Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). Only authorised staff can access guest information.
5. How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep your personal data only as long as necessary:
Guest files and correspondence: until the safari season ends
Passport copies: deleted immediately after all flights are completed
Financial records: kept for 7 years (required by law)
Enquiries that do not result in booking: deleted after 1–2 years
Emergency contacts: deleted when your safari concludes
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Ask us to correct inaccurate information
Request deletion of your data (where appropriate)
Withdraw consent for optional processing
Object to certain uses of your data

2FA on staff accounts
